An arctic front is headed south Tuesday afternoon. There will be a few clouds with the front but no rain or snow. The high today will be in the mid 50s, but after the front moves through in the afternoon temperatures will begin to fall and winds will pick up from the northwest at up to 20mph. Tonight with fair skies the low will drop to 23 in Jackson. Winds will still blow in from the north at 10 to 15mph, so wind chills will be in the single digits and teens by dawn Wednesday.

The rain should come to an end by 9 a.m., but a much cooler air mass will move in. Monday’s highs will only reach the lower 50s and strong northerly winds will only make it feel that much colder.
