MSU Continues To Impress Me
Wow…that’s all I can say about Mississippi State’s convincing 31-14 win over the 14th ranked Kentucky Wildcats today. The Bullies forced 6 Wildcat turnovers, and really took advantage of those UK miscues to pull off an amazing win in what is shaping up to be a great season for Sylvester Croom and the boys.
Now the question remaiins, can the Bulldogs get that illusive, bowl-eligible, win number 6 before the team’s showdown with Ole Miss in the 2007 Egg Bowl? Now that the Rebels are bowl ineligible after today’s loss to Auburn, how much would Ed Orgeron’s squad love to play spoiler for Mississippi State’s post season dreams?
I’ll be watching anxiously to see how the rest of the season shapes up.

Tuberville Blows Game Against SEC Rival LSU!
Can someone explain to me why Tommy Tuberville pulled a squib kick out of thin air after scoring the go ahead touchdown against LSU???
Me, Weekend Weather guy Jason Ellis, and our weekend technical director Michael Hester sat there stunned as we watched the finale after the show tonight. None of us could believe it. I mean, seriously, with a team as dangerous as LSU, why would it make it sense to give them great field position with right around 3 minutes remaining? I understand trying to avoid a kick return for a touchdown, but at least in that case, LSU scores quick and the game is in your hands. Blown judgement call in my opinion.
But what a call by Les Miles to go for the touchdown instead of settling for the field goal. Big win in another big time SEC matchup.
