Illegal Immigration/Undocumented Workers

Once again we’re tackling a difficult subject that is controversial, complex and which inspires great passion from those on each side. Mississippi’s new immigration law that takes effect July 1st is striking a nerve with many and rightfully so.

Thank you to everyone who is taking time to share thoughts and vote in the on-line poll on our website. I find the blogs fascinating, some disturbing and almost all of them thought provoking.

Personally, my feelings are mixed. I recognize the need to follow laws and create legislation that protects citizens but as a compassionate individual I also find it difficult to specifically target certain groups of people.

I’m anxious to hear from more of you and your thoughts.
