Illegals in Mississippi
What do you think about immigrants who come here illegally?
I’ve been working with Border Patrol this week following agents as they track down illegals coming through Mississippi in “communettas.” It’s hard to believe but hundreds come through central Mississippi every week. They turn over their hard earned money to smuggling thugs who bring them across the border so they can chase the American Dream.
Most of the illegals I’ve seen are men…but agents tell me it’s not uncommon to see women and their children packed in this filthy vans. The one we came across this week on i-20 was disgusting. It was full of trash, smelled of urine (the illegals actually urniate in these communettas because drivers don’t take time to stop)...and the van looked much older than it’s five years. It already had more than 100-thousand miles on it. Can you imagine make a cross country trip in that? We as Americans are so spoiled.
Did you know 400 illegals who came into this country last year died in the desert out west near the border? They got lost, disoriented, couldn’t find their way. Border Patrol says they rescued another 2000 who would have died had they not been located in time.
More on this subject is coming your way. Also be sure to watch for my special report where you can see an arrest here first hand.

I just really wish you would show both sides of the story isnt that what journalism is about??? Im tired of the media making it seem like the word illegals and criminals are synonyms ....they’re not! Some of them are the most humble, hard-working people one will ever meet. Getting rid of every single illgal immigrant would devestate many businesses. By they way its “camionetas” not communettas.
Great article, Linda. Keep up the great work!
Say, we all sure miss your Golden Voice and ultra-professional presence here in Rochester, NY (on WROC-TV Channel 8).

Thats insane! I had no idea there were that many illegal immigrants coming through our state & communities each day! And in such deplorable conditions! What is the border patrol doing to combat this?
