Waiting For The Melton Verdict

Over the past few months hundreds of viewers have e-mailed us through the WJTV “Share Your Thoughts” section of our website. An overwhelming majority support Mayor Melton and his actions at that house on Ridgeway Street, even if they believe he broke the law in damaging it. 

It’s apparent, people are fed up with crime in Jackson and at this point are willing to support aggressive tactics that might make streets and neighborhoods safer.  Was Mayor Melton right in trying to protect his citizens?  Did he break the law or do his job as elected to do?

I am anxious to see what a jury thinks about the charges against the mayor.  And I can’t wait to hear what Frank Melton has to say about the final verdict.  Stay Tuned!
