I wish that more locations had a man that would fight against drugs like the mayor. It is clear to see that certain people in the Jackson area do not appreciate people who fight drugs. If the Federal Govt. spent as much time fighting drugs as they do trying to convict men who do fight against drugs we would be much better off. If you don’t want him in your town, send him to us, we would appreciate him. |

I don’t know everything about the case but I feel that neighbors and the neighborhood know whether the house was a drug house or not. They need to take a stand. I’ve seen drugs ruin so many people, young and old. My own son’s football career was ruined because someone gave him drugs. Where is it coming from? If drugs were involved in any way with the house or people living in the house, we should take a stand and help the Mayor fight against drugs in the City. If the Mayor made a mistake, the citizens should stand for him when he’s in trouble. He is still the Mayor. The house should be replaced and the Mayor should apoligise for his mistakes. He’s in trouble today but tomorrow it might be you. |

I think Mayor Melton is doig an excelent job of being Mayor. And I think the best move he could have ever made was to put Cheif/Sherrif McMillan as cheif and Lee Vance as Assistant Cheif Mr. Vance is a very humble and kind man.God Bless them both in there endeavors. |
