The people of Jackson supports Mayor Melton 100%. He not only looks out for the elderly, but young children also. I think we should all leave Frank along and let him do his job as Mayor of Jackson. |

I think the jury did the right thing by finding Mr. Melton not guilty. If I were mayor of Jackson I would tote a gun too! Jackson has turned into a very dangerous place and something needs to be done. The people of Jackson say that they want to clean up Jackson and make it a better place, but God forbid that somebody actually tries to make it better and clean it up. And what’s with Kenneth Stokes? One day he’s against Frank, when Frank busted up the crack house, but when it appeared that the jury would find him not guilty he was all supportive of Frank. Kinda weird politics. I guess that just proves it’s okay to be a fairweather johnson. Anyway I think Frank needs to be turned loose in Jackson with a 2x4 and start cleaning up these wannabe gangbangers and get some support from the judicial system and put these thugs away. It’s time for a change people. The people of Jackson need to wake up and realize that this man is trying to help them not harm them. |

Your reporting usually states that 60-70 % of the people support the Mayor and or agree with the verdict. So why, when you share viewer comments, do you give “equal time” to those who don’t support the Mayor and or disagree with the verdict. By equal time, of course I mean that you usually site one negative comment and one positive comment. Put another way, to be fair and balanced why wouldn’t you give 2 or 3 comments in favor of the Mayor for each comment against the Mayor? |

When Melton became a mayor,he suppose to do his job by helping Jackson, not trying to be a police. What the jury did was wrong when they dropped the charges on him. When he damage the house, the charges shouldn’t be dropped. If it was us,we’ll be in jail by now serving time.Jackson need another mayor, not him. He’s not doing his job what he suppose to do,the streets need fixing, and he haven’t done anything to them, since he became a mayor. All of the others say the charges needed to be dropped, they know they are wrong about that.No one can’t go around damages houses without proof, and exspecially with someone staying in them. |

Why is it that when someone steps forward and trys to do something about crime, they are tagged as a bad person? During this whole thing, crime went through the roof. Where was Ms. Peterson and the City Council then? If there has to be a Witch Hunt, go after the real witch(es). |
