Sitting in a place I don’t know and with alot of people I don’t know and watching my hometown be destroyed before the gulf coast did and then have to see people who chose not to leave and then have to see the horrible outcries from the ones who knew and still chose not to leave poor mouth, while I sat and watched and sat and cried to hear after two weeks of complaining of the media about what should have been done and call cnn to find out info on my area and finally hearring that all you could see is the roof of my house.Now after two years hearring people complain of how they lost electricity for a couple of days I DON’T EVEN HAVE A HOME ANYMORE. My most vivid memory is waiting in line at Walmart’s gas station for hours waiting for a gas truck to come in..the line of sooo terribly long but I met a lot of people that day from all over and although we had to wait for a long time everyone was sweet and cheerful. |
