Milk Prices (5)

The price of milk is going up and economists say they don’t see any relief in sight.  At most of the bigger grocery store chains around Jackson, customers are paying around four dollars for a gallon of whole milk.  If you find cheaper milk prices we want you to tell us about it!

Yes, milk prices are outrageous but I do search the food advertisement weekly for sales.  This week, Walgreens is offering $2.99 for a gallon

How in the world do people suppose to live this way when everything is going up except the wages and most of our jobs in Smith County is going to Mexico just like the one I am working at now. Everybody can’t get welfare because they say you make to much. It is hard to a two parent family, so I know it is real hard a single parent. Things are not getting any easier it seems like it is getting harder and harder. People wander why people do some of the things that they do to get money to take care of their families. My family really loves to drink milk but, if keeps going up I guess I will have to quit buying it even though my growing child needs it for her nourishment of her body.
