What do you think about murder suspects being released from jail before they’re indicted?

Even though I can understand why the family of the victim would be upset, the constitution states that EVERYONE has the right to a speedy trial. This portion of the constitution was put in place so the accused wouldn’t be put in jail and left to rot while they wait for who knows how long to even see the inside of a court room. I don’t think that murderers should be left on the streets to do as they please to society, but I think that the justice department should definitely work harder to make sure they meet their deadlines so we can keep criminals behind bars. |
