What do you think about murder suspects being released from jail before they’re indicted?

I think you should stop wasting time airing the opinions of viewers and start looking at what the judge said. The police took two months to finish their paper work and the DA did not get their indictments to the grand jury in time to meet the pre-set deadline. Neither the judge nor the “thugs” are to blame. It is the Jackson, Mississippi way. |

this is exactly what is wrong with our justice system today-the thugs have no fear of punishment. |

While it is easy to feel the pain and emotion of the victim’s family, the constitution guarantees everyone the right to a speedy trial. Judge Barnett is giving these suspects the same due process each and every citizen is promised under the constitution. It is not an easy thing to do, but it is the constitutional thing to do. I hope all our judges uphold the law in such a manner. Perhaps the other legal players in this case should ensure that they are doing their part. |

i think that it’s wrong for them to be letting these people out of jail. my uncle was killed last july on hwy 80 in front of sleep inn. the person that killed him is out on bond. who’s to say he want kill again. i wouldn’t be shocked if he do. i think that if they do the crime they should do the time. the judge that is allowing these people to get out should stop. how would he/she feel if someone murdered a loved one of theirs and was right back out on the streets. it would hurt and you would feel the same as the rest of us. justice has not been served. if the person is going to get right back out why even pick them up? |

Any judge that does this is not qualified to be any kind of judge and he proved it by releasing these thugs and should be removed from office. |

And since they admitted doing the crime, just send them down the river if you just want to do something with them. That will save us some money. Judge have you lost you mind |
