What are your thoughts on the 1960s Civil Rights murders?

Two young men were kidnapped, beaten and murdered.  I find it disturbing that a law adopted in 1982 appears to make his criminal behavior okay.  Seale should stay in jail until he dies at his ripe old age, which still makes his death more merciful and humane than what he and his friends did to those two young men.

I believe there isn’t any statuatory time for kidnapping and murder. He’s no better than the young men he murdered.  They didn’t get a chance to make the decision to die or get a chance to be prosecuted for whatever reason cased their deaths.

I think he should stay in jail. It don’t matter if he did the crime back then now it’s time for him to do the time. Back than people just let things went as they were now they are speaking up.

I know that many of the witnesses are DEAD, but the killer isn’t. He should remain there until the Good Lord pulls his number, maybe he’ll think about all the dirty stuff he and his Klansmen did while he waits!!!!

LEAVE THE PASSED ALONG.  WHY BRING THE WRONGS BACK UP.  EVERY ONE HAS SUFFERED ENOUGH.

I think we should quit wasting the taxpayer’s money on these murders.  The witnesses in these cases are either dead or too old to realize what is going on. God will take care of them.  Everyone should be able to face their accusers and witnesses should be alive and testimony not read from old transcripts.

THE HELL WITH JUSTICE.  AN EYE FOR AN EYE IS WHAT IT IS GOING TO TAKE TO SHOW THESE MURDERERS HOW WE FEEL.  SEALE SHOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED YEARS AGO.  MAYBE IF THE FAMILY MEMBERS KILL HIM NOW, THEN JUSTICE WOULD BE SERVED.  THANK GOD IT’S NOT MY FAMILY.

MAYBE THE FAMILY MEMBERS SHOULD TAKE THE LAW INTO THEIR OWN HANDS AND TAKE CARE OF SEALE THEMSELVES.  HOW MUCH JUSTICE WOULD THAT BE.  MAYBE IT WILL TAKE 40 YEARS TO PROVE THAT THEY DID IT. THEN WE’LL SEE HOW MUCH TIME REALLY MEAN. I THOUGHT THERE WAS NO STATUE OF LIMITATION ON A MURDER CASE.

I Think its crazy to say this man should get off. I am from that area and know the families of the people. Those familys deserve justice for all that they have been through regardless to how long it took. He shouldn’t be able to “just enjoy the rest of his life” because he took one. Thats whats called justice. He should’t be treated like he has done no wrong cause he has. and thats finally justice served for and to us. and i hope he gets all he deserves.
