We had been waiting all week to see what happened on kid nation and Tony Mastro had to keep interupting it so that we could not enjoy it at all. Then he interupted criminal minds at the last minute he could not even wait 2 minutes till the show was over. At least CSI New York was replayed at a later time but it was a time when most people are in bed and not able to watch it. We did at least learn about it in time to record it but had to do so as 3 30 minute programs. The next time why not just scroll it across the bottom of the screen and/or just interupt commercials. It was totally ridiculous. |

The severe weather coverage last night was ridiculous. Tony Mastro said the same thing over and over and over!!! It was not necessary to interrupt the evening’s broadcasting for the time periods of 20 minutes to over an hour. During one show you interrupted at the last minute of the show during the conclusion. You could have waited 60 seconds for what little bit weather information you provided over the next SOLID hour! Scroll the info across the bottom of the screen or break in and tell the main info when necessary but don’t take up the whole evening for nothing! When you come in and relax for the evening, you don’t want to hear someone repeat themselves for an hour. You acted like you were struggling to find something to say to keep you on the air. RIDICULOUS!!! |

Scroll the weather alerts across the bottom of the channel. As of tonight my family will start watching our shows on ABC or NBC. They have only interrupted their shows during commercial breaks. I have heard the same report 7 times since regular broadcasting was last interrupted. Never, ever again will I watch WJTV news. |

Is it necessary to keep repeating the same forcast over and over for 15 or 20 minutes or even longer? A brief update spread over a longer period of time would keep the viewing audience a little happier while keeping the viewers informed and entertained. The awful weather is bad enough, but the constant repetition is nerve racking. Sometimes less is more; just do less more often. |

Enough already. ya’ll make too little too serious. Most of what I watch is on CBS, and Tony Mastro is constantly interrupting for warning very far south or north. It does not earn him any awards, and it loses viewers. I’m on my way to the NBC affiliate. Idiocy. |

I know we have had a good bit of severe weather lately, but it seems to me there should be some way to interrupt commercials instead of Dr. Phil and Oprah every single day. Then sometimes the station plays back what we saw before the interruption which gets cut off when the new information starts coming on for a commercial. I’m not saying we don’t need the information, but could you at least not spend so much time telling us that we now join our regularly scheduled program - already in progress. Come on, does Tony Mastro really think he is more interesting than Dr. Phil and Oprah? |
