Should the legal drinking age be lowered to 18?

No, the drinking age should not be lowered. Children should not be drinking alcohol. Statics show that the younger a person starts drinking, the more likely he is to have problems with alcohol. Also, many 18 year olds are still in high school. Allowing them to drink puts younger kids at risk. It’s more likely that an 18 year old would buy alcohol for friends who are 15, 16, and 17. 21 is young enough. |

I think that the age shouldn’t be lowered, because its dangerous as it is and we need no more DUI accidents. Young people need to sit down and focus on school and not drinking. Whomever came up with that needs to sit down because they are asking for more trouble and a big increase in accidents and crime rate!!!!!!! |
