State Farm can’t sell new homeowners policies in Ms because they no longer know what their policy covers. It doesn’t matter what their policy contract says. Jim Hood, the class action lawyers and the courts now decide. How in the world can a company make a profit under those conditions? I’ve heard that only 1% of State Farm’s business comes from our little state. We better be glad they’re keeping what policies they have. And, our publicity seeking attorney general better be careful. We need State Farm in our insurance market lots more than they need us! |

I agree. Who would do business with State Farm anyway in Mississippi? Or any other state for that matter, after seeing how they handled Katrina claims. They probably didn’t choose not to write any more policies(home/business in Mississippi). They were forced in that direction by the public who chooses not to do business with them. |

Who in their right mind would still do business with State Farm? Why would we in Ms buy a policy from them and never be able to collect on it? |
