What do you think are the important issues in the debate?

The other night I saw a horrible car accident on I55 in Pike County.  I was really bothered by the fact that first no one would assist the victims & second how long the response time was for a ambulance to arrive.  One of the victims ended up dying in my husbands arms.  I sure hope if anything so tragic happens again that someone will step forward & help.  “The tow truck arrived on the scene before the ambulance!!“

I think it was asinine of this station to imply that gun sales have gone up because Obama may be the next president elect. What if McCain and Palin are elected, “will teen pregnancy go up!” She is against sex ed. in schools…...

It is a combination of all the issuses that the republican party has done. Bush and Chaney have gotten rich off our suffering. They are oil people there politics and what they have done is unreal and people keep voting for them. McCain and Palin look like a father/daughter combination she isn’t ready. This lady is one step from being president. I could see biden stepping up but not palin. Most people have forgotten that he voted against the king holiday and didn’t apologize until he started running. If Obama was white there would be any question he would be elected but it seems like everyone is trying to find something against him. The republicans are dancing around the issuses and making jokes about his name his name isn’t the issuse and I don’t vote party lines. It is what can he do to help us. People need to really check themselves if you are voting for/against obama because he is african american then you are wrong. Educate yourself and vote wisely.

You couldn’t get a job at McDonalds and become district manager after 143 days of experience.
You couldn’t become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon.
You couldn’t get a job as a teacher and be the superintendent after 143 days of experience.
You couldn’t join the military and become a colonel after a 143 days of experience.
You couldn’t get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news anchor after 143 days of experience.
You couldn’t get a job as Director of Nursing after 143 days experience as an RN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BUT….
‘From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he
logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That’s how many days the Senate was actually in session and working. After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World ... 143 days.
We all have to start somewhere. The senate is a good start, but after 143 days, that’s all it is - a start.
AND, strangely, a large sector of the American public is okay with this and campaigning for him. We wouldn’t accept this in our own line of work, yet some are okay with this for the President of the United States of America?

Why do McCain feel he qualifies to be our President.
By now he should realize, he don’t qualify.

I think the real issue here is the economy and the senseless war we’re involved in still. It was clear to me that Obama won the debate as usual he sticks to the point and the point is helping people who are poor and middleclassed and ending the war.
