Well said Tammy…

Only time will tell what Obama will ACTUALLY do for this country.  I’m white and have no problem with this “african-american” being the president.  As I said before, he may be the best thing for this country.  No one REALLY knows yet.

What burns me up though, is the fact that so many people (on both sides of the racial line) are saying stuff like, “finally, a black man is president” or “this election was about equal rights” or some other “We will rise” group mouthing off about some great step this will be to overcome racism.  This was supposed to be about picking the best person for the job… not a moment for “making history.”

Here it is plain and simple… if you voted for mccain because you didn’t want to see a black man as president, you’re a racist idiot.  AND if you voted for Obama so that the US could have its first african-america president… you TOO are a racist idiot.

Go look up Howard Stern’s election experiment for some interesting.  Some people didn’t really know one person’s policies from another… kinda interesting.

Hope everyone’s having a good weekend!

I can’t believe some of the racial comments here. Quote:“We have tolerated your race, so you might as well get ready to toleratd ours”. Tolerated? People this is 2008!! Yes, we have elected the first African American as President of the United States. With such a huge stride towards the future of letting go of racial hatred, why hang on to comments like this. It only adds fuel to the fire! The only way to move forward is for both black and white people to stop racial hatred towards each other. God made us all equal. Let’s act like it!

hello white girl: abortions to some is a very touching subject. but, the reason for a woman having that done for many, many different reason, rape, incest, for health reason etc that alone should not be taken from her. but just having unprotected sex and having an abortion I am totally against that. what a person do and how they live is not my place to judge. but like myself in the after life we are held accountable.

Exactly Connie!  Hate the race that stole from africa!  What about the race that SOLD from Africa?  Apparently no one learns about the slave TRADES anymore.

The indians, yup you’re right, the indians were nearly exterminated from the continent.  They were run from their homes and slaughtered in open fields and left to rot.  They weren’t purchased from their own people and at least given homes to live in.  They weren’t at least given a chance to live by working in fields.  Cry that river and complain about your oppression.  Your right to complain that was established by that same monster that killed all the indians and bought (and i’m sure stole some also) africans is a terrible right.  How dare we be able to speak out against our government and other races without the fear of being executed.  Don’t like the way things are in the US? Leave then. Boats go both ways ya know… have a nice trip.  OH that’s right, “Change” has been established in our cruel country.  Hundreds of years of oppression will be justified by an “african-american” being elected to be president.  I mean, his entire blood line is African… right?

As i said before…  Obama might be the best thing, and he might be the worst.  We’ll know over the next 4 years…  now, the kids should be able to speak out about Obama.  Not being able to speak out your opinion is, well, basically against everything this country stands for…  again, more thoughts to chew on.

to the one that’s upset because the mavrick did not win. so what it seems like most of you would rather have someone in office who thinks he is a mavrick.  that will not fix this economy.  do you see the reaction that obama get from around the world?  IF any race that should be hated is the ones that stole from africa, stole from the indians, stole from the mexicans and stole everything else.
