I find it extraordinary that so many people have opinions about the Presidential election and about Mayor Melton’s federal case.  Just think, if we all took just as much time and effort “attempting"to help solve the problems not only being faced by the country, but also in Jackson, MS, we really could make a difference.  If you find these things to be soooooo bad, as they said in the old days, “Hold their feet to the fire” and make them accountable.  As you know, you voted, so you have a say.

Come on people get over it! 43 white presidents to 1 black president doesn’t sound fair but teachers please realize that this one is going down in the history books rather you like it or not children should not be punished for praising the new president at school

1Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

Romans 13:1-2

If it was not Obama’s time, he wouldn’t be in office.  Talking about it or not talking about it does not change a thing and we should get on with supporting him and trusting God that his will will be done.

Shame on all you so- called Bible belt Christians! Examine yourselves, especially your hearts! If you refuse to accept a Black man as President, I suppose you will refuse to Jesus since He is a JEW!!! We have voted for nothing but White presidents since there was an America, and you see what a mess Bush made. You ought to be excited about having the bst of both Black and White being in authority for a change. We have toleratd your race, so you might as well get ready to toleratd ours. Face the facts: He is OUR President and will be for (at least) the next four years! Suck it up and get on with it! Just because you won’t talk about it doesn’t mean that you will wake up in the morning and McCain will be president.Forget about yourself and realize that the best MAN won.

I love our new president, but so many issues have arised since Nov. 4!! Teachers at certain schools are punishing our children for saying anything about him.  One student was put in Inschool suspension because he/she had on an Obama t-shirt. The parent went to the school and the story changed. Also teachers are saying they better not hear anyone saying anything or they will be in trouble.  THIS IS NOT RIGHT!!!!!!

Ever since the election race began both races white and black have expressed their thoughts on president-elect Barack Obama. After election day it seemed as if race was the major factor instead of the platrom that he represents. If no ona has noticed he is mulatto. He represents both races of black and white. So why is there such an uproar? It should unite us rather than dividing us!

It has amazed me to see how silent OBAMA is and has been through all the hate mongering and bad press from people who are hurting so badly.  He reminds me of the patience and love my Master showed when the people who needed Him most killed Him.
I admire your stamina and adherence to your destiny.  Don’t ever allow people to get in your way with their pettiness.

It is my opinion that it is ironic that the Federal Government want to try Mayor Melton for trying to do their job.  We can find one thousand and one ways to waste the people’s money.  They need to make Mayor melton replace the house and let him get on about the business of the tax paying citizens of Jackson.
The Feds and Mayor Melton and everyone else has been fighting a losing battle with The War on Drugs.  You cannot win the war unless you eliminate the cause.  Not unless the people who demand drugs are eliminated you have the same problem.

If you people in the state of MS would read your bible you would see that God is in charge of the USA. If it wasn’t in God’s will for Barack Obama to be our pres.; he wouldn’t be our pres.!!! If you would take time to read Judges chapter 5 you would be at peace and let go and let God have his way!!!!
