What message would you like to send truck drivers?

SOME TRUCK DRIVERS THINK THEY RULE THE ROAD. WHEN THEY DECIDE TO SWITCH LANES THEY SIGNAL, BUT THE COME OVER AS SOON AS THEY DO. THEY DONT GIVE YOU ENOUGH TIME TIME TO REACT TO THEIR SIGNAL. SOME OF THE TRUCKS ARE BEING DRIVEN LIKE SPORTS CARS, AND THATS NOT SAFE FOR THEM OR US! I’VE HAD A COUPLE OF TRUCKS COME OVER ON ME, SO NOW I JUST SPEED BY THEM. I DONT TRUST ANY OF THEM!

Honestly, I try very hard to stay out of the way of big rigs. I know that cant stop as quick and thats a lot of vehicle. I have one problem. I travel 20 east 5 nights a week and this never fails. When you hit the curve at the split off to 55 the big riggs stay in the slow far right lane until they are right at the split to 55 and then cut over to the middle lane to keep straight. That is very dangerous. Tell the truckers if you are going to keep straight, get in the middle lane around Ellis Ave. I was almost got hit by one one night. But I got his number off the truck and called the office to complain. Please read, this is dangerous.

I’m a trucker myself and it’s not about male/female on who’s the better driver. People need to get their story straight. You have so many 4 wheelers(cars, truck, suv, and ect…) cutting big rigs off and hitting brakes or putting their turn signal on at the last minute. Then they want a law suit when they are in the, and just because a driver carry the title on his/her Dl CDl, he/she is automatic in the wrong cause they say that we are pros. The government put us down all the time and we are the people who take time away from out love ones to help keep this country moving and we get no kind of thank you or nothing.

I am married to a truck driver and have traveled 43 states in a big rig. It is not always the truck drivers fault about everything. They have a job to do and many things they have to put up with on the road. Smaller vechiles are always cutting them off and stopping in front of them and people think that those things stop on a dime and they don’t, it takes some space to get one stopped. When truck drivers give a signal to change lanes most people speed up to cut them off. I know these things because i have seen it with my on two eyes. Smaller vehicles don’t respect a truck, all they think is let me see if i can cut somebody off or get ahead. Everyone blames truck drivers for everything that happen but what I have never heard is what did the smaller vehicle do? Some drivers do get tired and push it to far but that is not everyone of them. They have a job to do just like everyone else. Trucks keep AMERICA going !!

I THINK THAT THE TRUCKERS NEED THEIR REST.THEY NEED TO SLEEP BUT THEY NEED TO SLEEP OFF ROAD.NOT ON ROAD.SO I THINK THEY NEED TO TO SLEEP A LOTT AT HOME OR AT A TRUCK STOP.SO THAT’S MY OPINION!!!!!!!

I FEEL TRUCK DRIVERS SHOULD BE AWARDED FOR THE CAREER THAT THEY HAVE BECAUSE LONG DRIVERS ARE VERY TOUGH ON EVEN THE MOST EXPERIENCED DRIVERS. SO TO ALL TRUCK DRIVERS BE SAFE. ESPECIALLY MY COUSIN SHERNITA WILLIAMS OF MEMPHIS TENNESSEE. WHO’S A FEMALE THAT’S ALSO TRYING TO MAKE IT IN A MALE DOMINATING PROFESSION, BUT I HEARD FEMALES ARE THE BETTER DRIVER SO GO OUT THERE AND DO YOUR THANG AND HAVE A SAFE TRIP HOME
