It is a terrible thing and if there were tougher laws and harsher consequences we wouldn’t see it happen as often. The victims are often the ones who suffer the most and receive the harshest backlashes nto the offenders. We live in a society that has let its morals go by the wayside. We need to get back to the basics and allow prayer in schools and offer children and other victims a hand instead of chastizing them. This world can be fixed and Jesus can help it happen. I pray that everywhere that the victims know that what happens to them is not their fault and that they can make it through this with some support. They need to be strong and take that step to tell someone--don’t be afraid, the alternative of not telling is worse.
